How to select your spectacles online

by Logan McArthur

Here is how you can choose the correct glasses frame for your face:

Colour of the frames:-

Pastel shades will best suit those of you with a fair complexion. You might also safely choose metal frames or possibly clear frames. Choose a frame colour to reflect your eye or hair colour.

Choose the frame shape that will suit your face's shape

Oval face: The oval face is the complete face with perfectly balanced proportions. Any shape of frame looks good on it. However you can think about for spectacle frames that are as wide as (or wider than) the broadest part of the face, or walnut-shaped frames that are not too deep or too narrow.

If you have a found face, you should choose glasses to help make your face look longer and thinner. Go for angular or narrow frames on your eye glasses. Having a bridge that stnads out and helps to make your eyes look wider are a good thing to look for too.

Long face shape: The long face is longer than it is broad and has a long straight cheek line and sometimes a longish nose. To make the face appear shorter and more balanced, think about frames that have a top-to-bottom depth, decorative or contrasting temples that add breadth to the face or a low bridge to shorten the nose.

Narrow frames with more width will help you if you have a square face. You could also try those spectacles with a narrow oval look to them.

If your face is heart shaped or triangular, then go for a set of frames that are narrower at the top. Also, look for pale coloured frames or rimless frames.

If you need to choose your specs for an online purchase, then I really hope that these ideas have given you value for your time
